Decades of scientific studies have proven that many health conditions can be prevented by regular exercise. However, gym memberships can be expensive, leaving many scratching their heads on the best way to be healthy and fit.

We’ll show you how – even if you don’t have money to spend!

Drink More Water

Water is such an underrated necessity for preventing health conditions. It does more good for your body than pretty much anything else you can possibly consume. It helps you lose weight when used properly as well. Water fills you up, acting as a natural appetite suppressant.

It also has not one single calorie, therefore you don’t gain weight by drinking it. Aside from the fact that it’s absolutely free, it also raises your metabolism!

Aside from the weight loss benefits, it helps to keep you regular as it helps with digestion. If you are prone to headaches, you’ll likely experience fewer if any headaches by increasing your water consumption.

Last but not least, it flushes out your system and keeps the inside of your body clean.

Food

I’m sure you’ve heard it before – but don’t skip breakfast. It’s called the most important meal of the day for a reason. Because it IS.

This is because overnight is the longest period people typically go without consuming food. By morning, your body has slowed down your metabolism. So why should you care? When your metabolism slows down, so does the rate at which you are able to burn calories.

Breakfast items are also typically the least expensive meal supplies you can buy, so use coupons to find additional savings. While on the path to losing weight, you’ll also spend less money on food.

Try to avoid buying sugary treats and plan your meals ahead. Just by planning your meals, you can stick to your budget without going over. Check for sales and coupons, and plan your healthy meals around those savings you have available.

Exercise

This is where many people start making the budget excuse for not losing weight. Let’s get one thing clear – you do NOT need a gym membership to get fit. In fact, you don’t even need workout equipment.

It costs absolutely nothing to walk, run, lunge, do sit-ups, push-ups or planks. You can swim, shadow box, do aerobics, dance or even have more sex – all of those have two things in common. They burn calories and they are FREE.

Now that you have no more excuses – start saving and start getting healthy!
